A vintage Italian imposing Mantle garniture in the Louis XVI manner including a mantle clock and a pair of vasiform seven-light candelabra. The cases are made from solid gilded brass and marble. The clock is decorated with pierced and carved intricate detail, bronze supporting cherubs flanking the dial holds a rope. The dial has delicate black clock hands and Roman numerals; marked, Imperial, to the center, and, Made in Italy, lower to the center. The clock houses German balance wheel escapement movement, marked, Franz Hermle, on verso. The case of the clock is engraved, Made in Italy, on the back. The candelabra decorated with cherubs on the sides and birds figurines, and carved ornamental detail on the case and base.
