A wonderful Russian gilt-silver kovsh, decorated with polychrome patterns made using the cloisonné enamel technique in shades of crimson, mint-green and grey on a silver ground. Patterns that combine Art Deco style and Pan-Slavic motifs emphasize the soft flowing shape of the kovsh. The stylized angular handle with circular piercing. Hallmarks: 84 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right and other Russian hallmarks. Weight: 157 g.
