A lot of four antique engravings on paper depicting portraits. The engraving depicts a portrait of E. Bignon (Supervisor French intelligence in the Duchy of Warsaw); an unknown artist; circa the first half of the 19th century, titled in plate lower to the center. The pair of engravings depict portraits of Peter Pek Petrvs Petskivs Ziritsaev and Jacob van PameleIacobvs Pamelivs (titled to the center), from the series, Portraits of famous Dutch and Flemish scientists; one of 57; circa 1604-1608; signed and numbered in the plate upper to the center, and lower right and left. The last: original 18th century engraving depicts a portrait of Fridericus Rappolt (philologist, theologian) by Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography.
