Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic unique shape with a wide top and narrowed towards the bottom ceramic vase covered with glaze in light beige and terracotta shades. Signed by the artist, L. Halpern, and numbered, 237, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments.
