Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) unique artistic spherical ceramic vase covered with light-green glaze. The exterior is decorated with engravings of moving horses. Signed by the artist with initials, L. H., and numbered, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments.
