Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic spherical ceramic vase with a narrow neck and cracked effect covered with a glaze in dark shades. Signed by the artist and numbered with engraving, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments.
