A pair of artistic ceramic vases covered with brown, grey, white, and red glaze by Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985). Each signed by the artist, L. Halpern, and numbered, 549, 482, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments.
