A pair of Japanese Meiji period imari porcelain plates in two different sizes. Each with a scalloped rim and hand-painted polychrome paintings. The first is decorated with a vase with a bouquet of flowers painting to the center and a floral pattern in blue red and orange colors on the sides. The second is decorated with a blue floral design to the center and floral and leaves motifs on the sides. The plates are painted with floral motifs of cobalt color on a white background on versos.
