An antique Russian color lithograph on paper based on a painting by Matskevich I.I., Portrait of Emperor Nicholas II in the uniform of Colonel of the Life Guards Hussar Regiment, France, Paris, edition I. Lapin and K., 1911. Such images of reigning persons were often used as ceremonial portraits in public places and official places. Since this lithograph was made in Paris, it is possible that its production was timed to coincide with the next official visit of Nicholas II to France. Signed and dated in the print, upper left. Marked in the print, lower to the center. Antique Russian and European Royal Portrait Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
