Commemorative glass beaker and saucer in honor of the coronation of Russian Emperor Alexander III. A frosted glass beaker adorned with intertwined initials "AA" (Alexander Alexandrovich) under the imperial crown of the Romanovs, the inscription "V Moskwe" [In Moscow] and the date "1883" framed by a laurel wreath. On the reverse, there is a Russian proverb about drinking "Khosh ne khosh / a vypit' nado" (Like it or not / you should drink).
