A Russian carved hardstone figurine depicting a water carrier in traditional dress, leaning forward as he pulls a sled laden with a large barrel. The piece utilizes a variety of semi precious stones including rhodonite, tiger eye, agate, black jade, white jade stones, all set upon a carved rock crystal base simulating ice. The figures face is finely detailed with inset sapphire eyes, and the assembly is joined by a metallic lead. The rope is 14K gold. Silver rings.
