Lot 461 - NEOCLASSICAL MARBLE BRONZE CLOCK GARNITURE SET

The late 19th or early 20th century French style clock garniture comprises a portico style mantel clock and a pair of matching side cassolettes, all executed in dark green veined marble with ornate gilt bronze mounts. The clock features a circular white enamel dial decorated with polychrome floral garlands and Arabic numerals, housed within a four column portico topped with a cast bronze bird and wreath finial. The clock is fitted with a decorative sunburst pendulum and is accompanied by a winding key. Accompanying the clock are two neoclassical urn form cassolettes supported by tripod legs with hoof feet and foliate accents, resting on circular marble bases. The bases are decorated with a relief design representing mythological scenes with human figures. Marked on the reverse.
