An antique Grand Tour mosaic glass wine glass skyphos. The skyphos is modeled after an ancient Roman vessel with two ring handles and is decorated with an intricate mosaic pattern of shades of blue and white glass. The Grand Tour was the 17th to early 19th century custom of a traditional trip through Europe, with Italy as a key destination, undertaken by upper class young European men.
