An antique Chinese porcelain tray or soap dish with porcelain bronze mounted feet in the Hua Rong Tang Zhi manner. The piece consists of a hand painted porcelain insert and an openwork frame body with handles and legs, crafted from gilt bronze. The porcelain portion is decorated with a vibrant floral and bird motif in the chinoiserie style. The bronze elements feature detailed carved ornamentation, made in the form of clawed paws that serve as legs. Circa: 1920s. Unmarked.
