A limited edition color print on paper, Smug Cat, by British artist Isabelle Brent, born 1961. The work is hand finished with gold leaf highlights. Signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right and numbered CL of DCCL, indicating it is number 150 from an edition of 750, lower left. Framed. Isabelle Brent is an internationally recognized British painter, illustrator, and designer celebrated for her distinctively rich, detailed style influenced by medieval illuminated manuscripts and her extensive use of applied gold leaf and 24 karat gold dust. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, she has illustrated over two dozen children's books, designed fine stationery, and exhibited her fine art globally.
