An antique apothecary laboratory beam scales and a set of brass weights in the original wooden case. The beam balance is mounted on a solid wooden base. The structure is made of patinated brass and features a central beam with a balance indicator arrow and two pans. A weight wooden case with a hinged lid and precision grooves. Inside is a set of cylindrical brass weights with heads arranged in descending order of weight. A special long groove under a glass plate holds small milligram weights. There's also space for tweezers, which are essential for working with precision scales to prevent weight changes due to skin secretions. Marked, Made in England.
