A French Lalique crystal glass perfume bottle. The iconic Clairefontaine crystal perfume bottle, created by legendary French jeweler and glassmaker Rene Lalique. The original design was developed in 1931. A large, figured stopper cap in the shape of four branches of lily of the valley, Rene Laliques favorite flower. The base of the bottle is made in the form of a smooth ball of transparent crystal, and the branches on the stopper have a signature satin finish. The name refers to the Clairefontaine garden of the same name in southwest Paris, which served as a constant source of inspiration for the master.
