A pair of Eastern European cast low-silver alloy billon signet rings of post-medieval Russian or Ukrainian origin, dating to the 16th or 17th century. The first ring features a raised block-form rectangular bezel incised with a two-line Cyrillic script inscription reading DIM VAN, flanked by tripartite pelleted shoulders. The second ring possesses an oval-to-rectangular face bisected vertically into two distinct fields containing a primitive cross and linear symbols, with the shoulders adorned with applied radiating wire rosettes and beaded clusters.
