Lot 779 - JAPANESE SHOWA PERIOD YELLOW CLOISONNE ORCHID VASE

A fine vintage Japanese cloisonné enamel vase, produced during the Showa period (circa mid-20th century) and likely originating from the Ando Cloisonné Company workshop. The vessel is formed with a rounded, bulbous body tapering to a short, narrow neck. The exterior is decorated with a beautifully executed, naturalistic spray of blooming cymbidium orchids. The floral motif utilizes a combination of traditional yusen (wired) and musen (wireless) enameling techniques, blending rich shades of amber, rust-red, brown, and cream to achieve a delicate, painterly effect. This vibrant design is set against a flawless, high-gloss pale yellow ground. The vase is finished with polished silver-tone metal mounts at the top rim and the flat, unmarked base.
