A pair of 19th century wall pockets constructed from cast metal with a dark patinated finish. Each vessel features a semicircular profile adorned with a high relief frieze illustrating classical figural scenes in an allegorical style. The flat reverse of each piece includes a single keyhole aperture designed for flush wall mounting.
