Originating from the Javanese shadow theatre tradition, the puppet depicts a character featuring a distinct crown, fangs, and ornate traditional dress, mounted against a neutral background within a light wood frame. The central support and control rods are visible, showcasing the structural elements used by the dalang during performances of epic narratives such as the Ramayana or Mahabharata.
