A vintage sterling silver Tzedakah charity box in the shape of Rachels Tomb. Circa mid 20th century, 1950s. Mounted on a wide black marble base. Marked with 925 sterling silver standard on the side. Money slot on top. Note. Rachels Tomb is a site revered as the burial place of the Biblical matriarch Rachel. The site is also referred to as the Bilal bin Rabah mosque. The tomb is held in esteem by Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The tomb, located at the northern entrance to the West Bank city of Bethlehem. Antique and Vintage Judaica Collectibles.
