Lot 16 - LESTAMPE MODERNE LITHOGRAPH POSTER ARTEMIS BY A DONNAY

A colored lithographed poster by A. Donnay, originally published in LEstampe Moderne, 1897 to 1899. It depicts a Greek goddess Artemis in a flowing white gown with green leaf patterns, standing barefoot in a park setting. She is surrounded by trees with autumnal foliage. The print is made in soft, muted colors with a distinctly Art Nouveau style. Signed lower right, bears a relief Blindstamp. Auguste Donnay, 1862 to 1921, was a Belgian painter, etcher, lithographer and poster artist. Collectible Graphic Art Prints, Portraiture.
