Ryszard Winiarski, Polish, 1936 to 2006, mixed media artwork on paper. Titled Przypadek w grze. Signed and dated 1999 lower right. Matted and framed. The artist employs a stark contrast between black and the natural tone of the paper, creating a rhythmic arrangement of fields that records a decision-making process. Ryszard Winiarski was one of the most important Polish conceptual artists and a pioneer of systemic art.
