A portrait miniature painting of Emperor Alexander II. The round shaped gilt silver frame is encrusted with Diamonds, decorated with guilloche enamel and an overlay design representing a foliage garland with a bow, encrusted with a gemstone. The frame is decorated with a figural design representing a gilded cupid putto holding a wreath. Mounted on a pair of sphere shaped legs and an ornate stand leg on the backside. Marked with a Silver standard hallmark, and manufacturer marks, on the backside. Presented in a wood box with a clasp on the front side. Russian Silver Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
