A Czech book, The World Behind Bars play, created by the legendary Czech avant garde theatre duo Jiri Voskovec and Jan Werich V + W, in collaboration with Adolf Hoffmeister. The original edition was published in 1933 by Evzen J. Rosendorf in Prague. It is a satirical musical comedy in three acts with an epilogue. The artist behind this famous avant garde cover was the plays co author, Adolf Hoffmeister. This was the 16th production of the Liberated Theatre, Osvobozene Divadlo.
