A lot of five Mexican 1 peso silver coins of the 1940s professionally graded and encapsulated by the NGC Guaranty Company. The obverse features the Mexican coat of arms: a golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus devouring a rattlesnake. The eagle, cactus, and snake are surrounded by a holm oak branch on one side and a laurel branch on the other. The head of the eagle and snake separates the purity of 0.720. The reverse features the radiant cap with denomination and wreath below. The lot includes one 1940 coin, three 1943 coins, and one 1944 coin. All coins are rated NGC MS 64.
