A lot of two vintage framed photographs from the silent film Salome, featuring Russian, American actress Alla Nazimova. She starred in the film and also acted as its producer. One print bears a paper label on the back side inscribed Alla Nazimova in Salome directed by Charles Bryant 1923. Extra print. Stamped THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART FILM LIBRARY. Both photographs depict Nazimova in a distinctive long gown with a black and white pattern, standing beneath a decorative archway in a garden set, with other figures and decor visible.
