A vintage Romanian etching on paper signed Marcel Chirnoaga titled Strigoii. Depicting a book illustration. Strigoii is a poem by the Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu, written in 1876. Signed on the bottom right and inscribed on the left. Marcel Chirnoaga 1930 to 2008 was a Romanian artist who became a fulltime artist quite late in life, having graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Bucharest in 1952 and worked for many years in atmospheric physics and meteorology.
