A lot of two Orthodox Christian icons of Mother of God with Baby Jesus. First. Color print and wood marquetry icon, Black Madonna of Czestochowa. Second. Color print icon, Mother of God of Passion. Both pieces are framed. The Black Madonna of Czestochowa is a venerated icon enshrined at the Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa, Poland, venerated by both Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Christians. The icon of the Mother of God of Passion belongs to the iconographic type of Hodegetria. It got its name because of the image of angels holding instruments of the Passion of Christ in their hands, located next to the face of the Virgin.
