A lot of two U.S. silver half dollar coins, each in a separate protective case. The first: a 1913 Barber half dollar, struck at the Denver Mint as indicated by the letter D on the slab and under the eagles tail feathers on the reverse. The obverse features the head of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap and wreath, while the reverse features a bald eagle holding an olive branch and arrows. This years coins were issued in limited quantities. The second: a 1942 Walking Liberty half dollar, marked Error Rim. The obverse depicts a walking Liberty draped in an American flag, while the reverse depicts an eagle on a rock. 1942 coins are known for various types of errors, including double reverse images DDR or striking on a smaller denomination blank such as a quarter dollar.
