A pair of Japanese cloisonne enamel vases, each featuring a striking design. The vases have a bulbous body that tapers towards a narrow neck and a slightly flared mouth. They are decorated with a dark background. A large, detailed yellow chrysanthemum dominates the central area of each vase, with lush green leaves and stems surrounding it. The intricate patterns are created using the cloisonne technique, where thin wires are used to outline designs, and enamel fills are applied between these wires. The rims of the vases are adorned with bands of smaller colorful patterns, featuring blue and gold. Both vases are presented on decorative black wooden stands.
