Lot 463 - PAIR OF ISRAELI CAESARIA HAND PAINTED CERAMIC TILES

A pair of vintage Israeli hand-painted glazed ceramic tiles produced by Caesaria for Touch-Wood Ltd. Set within square wooden frames, each tile features bold black outlines and vibrant polychrome glazes. One tile depicts a figure playing a violin atop a roof beneath a moonlit night sky, while the second illustrates a stylised Jerusalem cityscape with colourful domed buildings and cypress trees. The reverse of one frame retains the blue workshop stamp reading "CAESARIA GLAZED TILES Hand painted by Touch-Wood LTD.-Israel" and both are fitted with triangular hanging rings.
