Vladimir Lazarev, Russian, 1904 to 1988, oil on canvas painting. The artwork depicts a horse race. Signed in the lower left. Undated. Framed. As a teenager, Vladimir Lazarev joined the Imperial Army during the Russian Revolution. After recovering from shrapnel wounds, he studied engineering in the University of Czecho-Slovakia and later moved to Germany where he attended art schools and private studios. He also attended art schools in Paris. Collectible Fine Art, Equestrian Genre.
