Lot 270 - ANTIQUE AMERICAN RELIGIOUS BRASS FLOOR LAMP

An antique American religious brass floor lamp. The style is highly decorative. At the top is a spherical white glass lampshade, sitting above a spherical openwork cage structure with ornate designs featuring a crown at the top and foliate motifs. A Latin text on it: Christo Paravi Meo Lucernam, translated I have prepared a lamp for Christ for my own. The shaft of the lamp has a twisted design, and the base is adorned with openwork foliate motifs. An electrical cord extends from the base. The lamp has a wick adjuster at the top with an ornate key.
