A Russian Imperial bronze table medal In memory of the death of Emperor Peter II, 1730. Marked lower VESTNER. F. COP. MESHCHERYAKOV. On the front side there is a chest portrait of Emperor Peter the Second in armor and robes, wearing a wig, with a laurel wreath on his head. Inscription in Latin around the circumference: PETRUS II RUSS. IMP. MAG. DVX MOSCOV. The reverse side depicts seven cypress trees growing side by side. On each tree there is a shield with an inscription in Latin. The inscription around the circle: FVNERA CONTIVATA.
