Herbert Feist, German-American, 1903 to 1981, mixed media on paper painting. Abstract composition in red and black. Signed and dated 1978 in the lower right. Titled Indian Heads on the backside. Artists gallery business card is attached to the backside. Matted and framed. Herbert Feist was a German sketch artist of Jewish descent. He emigrated to the US in the 1930s and settled in NYC where he opened an art gallery. Collectible Modernist Graphic Art.
