An antique German Sarreguemines Wagners Siegfried Opera themed faience wall plate. The motifs on the plates dedicated to Wagner depict the main characters of the dramas, in settings whose style can be described as historicist, and in light tones. Circa: 1860 to 1920. Marked with a manufacturer stamp, on the backside. Wilhelm Richard Wagner, 1813 to 1883, is a German composer, conductor. The greatest reformer of opera, who had a significant influence on European musical culture, especially German, in particular on the development of opera and symphonic genres.
