This three-dimensional assemblage sculpture by Ukrainian-American artist Louise Nevelson (1899–1988) is composed of vintage clockworks, brass gears, and wooden blocks mounted within a rectangular format. A white clock face fragment with Roman numerals is partially visible beneath an arrangement of interlocking gears, reflecting the artist's interest in the deconstruction and recontextualization of found objects. The work is signed "NEVELSON" in black ink on a wooden element at the lower right and is encased in an original clear Lucite or acrylic protective box.
