A large Russian gilt silver and enamel Easter egg. The egg is separated into two halves and opens to reveal a gold washed interior. The exterior is covered with polychrome enamel floral and foliage motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. Adorned with two gemstones on the top and bottom. Comes with a gilt silver stand mounted on three figurative legs designed as paws with wings on the top, and engraved details. The egg is hallmarked with an 88 Russian silver standard, makers marks, and other marks. The stand is hallmarked with an 84 Russian silver standard.
