A set of two original antique etchings. First. French etching is dedicated to the arrival of the Swedish Queen Christina in France in 1656. A detailed description of the event in French. Medallions with a portrait of Louis XIV and an allegory of the meeting of the monarchs. Colored ornamental frame. Pastel yellow mat, golden frame. Second. An engraved calling card of John Campbell, Baron Sundridge, and the 5th Duke of Argyll, 1723-1806. Dukes of Argyll were for several centuries among the most powerful noble families in Scotland.
