An antique Canadian oil on board painting by Nora Collyer. The painting depicts a cityscape with a boat dock. Signed on the back side. Framed. Nora Frances Elizabeth Collyer, 1898 to 1979, was a Canadian modernist painter who was inspired by the Canadian landscape, nature, and urban communities. She followed the teachings of Maurice Cullen and William Brymner at the Art Association of Montreal. She is part of the Beaver Hall Group, mainly composed of women artists.
