A Russian silver sugar box. The box is rectangular with a slightly rounded top. It sits on four ornate, curved feet. The surface of the box is decorated with engraved floral and foliate designs, and there is a central cartouche that may be intended for a monogram or inscription. The box has a hinged lid with a decorative handle on top. A gold wash interior. Hallmarked with makers marks, an 84 Russian silver standart on the bottom.
