Paul Edouard Delabrierre, French, 1829 to 1912, a bronze sculpture depicting Joan of Arc on horseback. The statue is mounted on a rectangular base, and features Joan in full armor, raising a banner high above her head. Signed E. Delabrierre on the base. Paul Delabrierre was an animalier sculptor. He had 70 of his sculptures juried into the prestigious Salon art exhibition held annually in Paris. His monumental work called LEquitation adorns the facade of the Louvre.
