An antique Japanese Meiji Era Cloisonne enamel dragon and phoenix bird lidded ginger jar. Early Meiji period, ca. 1870s. The item is decorated with a polychrome cloisonne enamel flower design and large images of a dragon and a phoenix bird on two sides.
