An Imperial Russian commemorative bronze medal, For the Capture of Shlisselburg. The award was given to Russian soldiers who distinguished themselves during the storming of the Swedish fortress of Noteburg in 1702. Designed by the Russian master Fyodor Alekseev. The obverse depicts a profile portrait of the Emperor Peter the Great. The reverse features the fortress, its name, and the date of the battle. The medal comes in a plastic protection case.
