Hand chased and embossed brass with fine designs including Arabic writing, animal and human figures. The bowl is from the Late Qing period, of a round form with an everted rim, made of copper and adorned with gilded Chinese characters, floral motifs, the central medallion bears an image of a Chinese goddess with lotus flowers riding a Qilin.
