An antique 18th-century hand-colored etching depicting a cityscape of St Augustine's Abbey and Cathedral in Canterbury, England with a woman tending cows in the foreground. Signed Paul Sandby and dated 1782 in the lower left. Paul Sandby, 1731-1809, was an English map-maker turned landscape painter in watercolor who became one of the founding members of the Royal Academy in 1768. The etching is mounted on canvas that is glued to brown paper. Collectible Antique European Landscape Graphic Art.
