A rare Russian 84 gilt-silver cigarette case of rectangular form with rounded corners. The exterior is enameled with a gorgeous scene depicting a bird, sun, sea, and flowers made in French Plique-a-Jour technique and framed with geometrical patterns in turquoise, cobalt blue, burgundy shades made in the Cloisonne technique. A clasp is adorned with a purple cabochon. Marked with Russian hallmarks, Silver standard mark, and other Assay marks on verso. Weight: 161 g.
