Adorned with the gilded silver embossed shaped decoration of the exterior with inlaid cabochons of agate and emerald. The hinged lid features a magnificent bas-relief with two gilded silver griffins looking at a torch and an inset with diamonds. Marked on the bottom with Russian hallmarks, assay marks, and 84 silver marks.
